Mission
The founding members of the International Association for Justice and Arbitration are united by the idea that every citizen should be given access to justice. In this justice, it is accessible to him and at the same time to work quickly and efficiently.
This is guaranteed by the fact that the arbitration judges hearing cases with us are excellent professionals with rich experience and high moral qualities.
SOFIA ARBITRATION COURT /SAC/
AT THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR JUSTICE AND ARBITRATION /IAJA/ is an organization whose purpose is to assist citizens and businesses in cases where there are unresolved issues between them.
In terms of business, arbitrage can be extremely useful for several reasons:
– Speed of procedures
– Financial benefit
– Convenience in a dispute with a foreign counterparty
The inclusion of an arbitration clause is also beneficial for another reason, which is, however, not insignificant. In the state court, access to the judge is forbidden. The arbitration court has another philosophy of work. Here the idea is for the arbitrator to be close to the controversial parties and to seek the most effective solution for both parties and in view of the regulatory framework.
An example. The 2014-2015 period was heavy for the business. The construction industry was particularly affected. At that time, around 70 cases were brought to the Sofia Arbitration Court. Thanks to the established dialogue, an out-of-court agreement was reached in 40 of them, which made both sides agree.
Our purpose is to make arbitration a real alternative to state courts when it comes to cases that fall within its competence.
How will we achieve it? By working on time and acting fairly and honestly. And the guarantee for this is our arbiters because they are highly qualified specialists with experience and morality.
