A PROMINENT REPRESENTATIVE OF RUSSIAN ARBITRATION COURT OPENED OUR COURSES "THE ARBITRATION – А USEFUL ALTERNATIVE"
One of the most authoritative Russian arbitrators, Marina Pak, opened the courses “Arbitration – a useful alternative” organized by the Sofia Arbitration Court at the International Association of Justice and Arbitration.
She has a tremendous experience in conducting international affairs. In her lecture, Marina Pac shared her experience with our arbitors and lawers. She highlighted the benefits of arbitration as an alternative to dispute resolution.
“Arbitration is useful because of the lowering of the degree of conflict between countries. And the procedure itself is enough for those who sue, “said Marina Pack. She also spoke of Russian experience with arbitration tribunals and several years of reform in the country.
“Over the past 20 years there have been around 1,000 arbitrators in Russia, some of which are leading and international affairs. After the reform, the arbitration courts are four, “Russian expert added.
The courses “Arbitration – a useful alternative” have the opportunity for Bulgarian lawyers and arbitors to get acquainted with the arbitration theory and practice and become part of the large international family of arbitration judges.
The trainees who have successfully passed the course will be able to register with the Sofia Arbitration Court at the International Association for Justice and Arbitration, the first such institution in the country to have a cooperation agreement with the International Court of Justice at the International Arbitration Chamber in Paris.
The training will continue until the beginning of March, and the lecturers are specialists in the field of arbitration, judges and university lecturers. The lecture will include the Chief Secretary of the International Arbitration Chamber in Paris, Irina Girif.
